Alberta Mentor Foundation for Youth

Alberta Mentor Foundation for Youth (AMFY) is a not-for profit organization dedicated to assisting young people develop their full potential. As a leader in the field of in-school mentoring, AMFY operates at the junior and senior high school levels in Calgary and the surrounding area where caring adult volunteers spend one hour a week, one-on-one with a student (protégé).

AMFY's 9th Annual Dinner and Auction was a big success! So many helpful staff and volunteers made this event a great evening. Take a look at AMFY's website if you are interested in becoming a mentor!

Al & Roxanne's Retirement Party

Al & Roxanne are one week away from loading up the motor home and hitting the road. Good thing they have a GPS, portable BBQ and BBQ set thanks to their co-workers and family. Their retirement party was a great way to celebrate this new chapter.

What a great day! Despite it being February in Calgary the weather actually worked in our favor. Rich and Lois had the most loving, amazing families not to mention their great bridal party. I had so much fun shooting my first wedding of the 2008 season. Safe travels home!

CMH - No lack of snow!

I don't think I have ever seen so much snow. The Revelstoke fire fighters had to lend a hand to help shovel us out. Thanks so much guys, it would have taken us awhile without you! Longs Family Addition

Danny and Leanne welcomed their new addition just two months ago! He came complete with 10 fingers, 10 toes and spiky brown hair! Congratulations, you are going to make great parents especially once you get the little guy to sleep.

Calgary Leukemia Celebrity Luncheon

This unique event is an entertaining gourmet luncheon and auction featuring celebrities from local media, sports, entertainment, politics and business industries as waiters. Some of the exciting events were the live and silent auction, teddy bear draw, grab bags, "Fund-A-Cure" and Heads or Tails game. Some of the special guests included Barb Higgins, CFCN News Anchor and Tim Harriman, a 19 year-old inspirational leukemia survivor.
