This modern couple's wedding was steeped in tradition. Surrounded by family and friends they partook in ceremonies to ward off evil spirits, bless them with prosperity and love as well as determining who would rule their home. Talk about a Julia Roberts smile, Christina did not hold back on her emotion. For that matter neither did Tom. The sun shone brightly on this loving couple as they exchanged their vows. What a perfect day!

As the years go by and one wedding season passes after another I sometimes loose track of time. When I am asked to photograph a couples new family I realize my special place in their life story. I am honored to capture a little piece of their families history and I can't help but imagine that when their little ones walk down the isle my images of them as children will be in the slideshow.
